Meet Gwen

I am kicking off my 40’s and living a life filled with more than I could have ever dreamed. I am a wife, mommy, athlete, entrepreneur, Texan at heart, and lover of all things fitness, food, community, and soul care.

As a young child, I fell in love with fitness and training through gymnastics, track, softball, and every other sport under the sun. During my undergraduate days at the University of Texas, I developed a passion for lifting weights and running outside of organized competition. This was the first time that I saw fitness as a means to care for my mind and body. Keeping fitness and self-care as a top priority eased the stress of graduate school and set the pace for my professional career.  I spent more than a few years in public accounting working fifty plus hours a week and eventually landed in ministry.

My passion for people and wellness combined with my love for systems and efficiency has shaped my approach and drove me to launch the Fit Body + Healthy Soul Podcast. I am a certified Nutrition Coach and completed the Cornell University Wellness Counseling Certification program. I help busy women take the next step toward their healthiest self. Here at Fit Body + Healthy Soul we focus on three simple pillars of healthy living: moving your body, eating well, and nurturing your soul. I am excited and honored that you are part of this community and cannot wait to equip, encourage, and inspire your Fit Body + Healthy Soul journey!
